Neurophysiotherapy – Ian Denslow

Ian is a Specialist Neurological Physiotherapist and owner of Dorset Neuro Rehab. Based in Dorchester but also offering consultations across Dorset and beyond, Ian has vast experience assessing and treating clients with neurological conditions having worked in different neurological specialisms in different localities. 

Ian graduated from the University of Southampton with a Masters of Science Degree in Physiotherapy in 2011. Prior to this he attained a First Class Honours Degree in Sports Sciences (Exercise and Fitness) from Brunel University in 2009.

Ian established Dorset Neuro Rehab in 2019 and is now fulfilling his vision of developing and establishing the business full time across Dorset. Ian developed his specialist interest in neurology whilst working in the NHS, most notably at the Duke of Cornwall Spinal Injury Centre in Salisbury and also in the Stroke and Neurology services at Dorset County Hospital in Dorchester. 

The driving force behind the service Ian delivers is the interactions he has with his clients. It is the ethos of Dorset Neuro Rehab to put the client at the heart of their own rehabilitation, working towards goals that are meaningful and purposeful.

Ian is excited by this new opportunity to offer his services based at the Move Clinic and shares the same values and beliefs as Jonathan Austin in delivering unique and individualised interventions that empower clients to optimal well being and fitness.

Alongside his work commitments Ian is a keen volleyball player and cyclist. He also has a beautiful Golden Retriever who is as mischievous as his puppy-like demeanour suggests!
